How to Enjoy London During the Week

Most people traveling to London go there during the weekend, and in some seasons it can get very crowded at those times, which is why I would recommend going during the week.

Besides, on a week day most people are not able to take time off work and therefore the prices of airline tickets decrease a lot.

Flying during the mid-week is often a lot cheaper than during weekend, and the best time to look for cheap tickets are in fact on Tuesday and Wednesday, then make sure you go home on a Saturday or a Tuesday.

Friday and Sunday are the worst days, as people usually like to be in the city already on Saturday, not be on the airplane, and need to return back on a Sunday.

Once you are there it would be beneficial if you knew what to do in London to make the most of your time.

It is never good to arrive somewhere with no plans what so ever since you will either lose a whole day or realize when you go back home all the things you missed because of bad planning.

So I will give you some tips of what to do in London during the weekdays, as they are a bit different from weekends.

One thing which is good to know is that museums are usually closed on mondays, so do not plan a museum visit on a monday – it will not happen.

London eye, however, will be less crowded and you might even get a whole cabin to yourself.

Shopping is also good, as you will not have to worry about long cues to the changing rooms and lines to the cashier.

During lunch time, make sure you take advantage of all the good lunch deals that can be found on week days.
